About the Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo 2026
The expo is a B2B trade show for fashion, sports, and e-commerce. It combines three co-located shows: the Philippine Apparel Textile Show, the Philippine Sport Show, and the Asia International E-Commerce Expo.

Dates | October 8 to 10, 2026 |
Venue | SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Metro Manila |
Co-located shows | Philippine Apparel Textile Show, Philippine Sport Show, Asia International E-Commerce Expo |
Before the event, the organizer projected 300+ exhibitors, 10,000+ trade visitors, and participants from 15+ countries and regions. The organizer's website describes these as estimates.
Who the expo was for
The organizer describes the expo as a place where manufacturers and suppliers from China and the Philippines meet buyers. The expected visitors included brand owners, importers and distributors, retail chains, e-commerce sellers, and startups building their first supplier relationships.
Products and services on show
The product categories on the organizer's site cover fashion and accessories, sports and fitness, gifts and premiums, home and daily-use items, consumer electronics, and toys and baby products. The e-commerce show also lists services such as logistics and warehousing, payment, insurance, and tax and finance.
Activities
The organizer's website listed an opening ceremony, a VIP exhibit tour, a fashion show, a B2B networking activity, and a stage presentation. It also scheduled B2B matching sessions on October 9, including one for the Quanzhou Pavilion and one for the Philippine Sport Show.
Starlight at Booth 411
Starlight was established in 2018 and is based in Makati. Our team includes Certified Public Accountants accredited by the Board of Accountancy and the BIR. We work with foreign and local companies, including Chinese-speaking investors.
That is why this expo fit. Many exhibitors and buyers were looking at the Philippine market, and some will need help with hiring, registration, product approvals, or ongoing compliance. Our team spent the event at the booth talking with visitors about exactly those questions.
On stage: Aileen Chen's talk
On October 9, around 3 PM, Ms. Aileen Chen, our Sales Consultant, spoke to the audience about how Starlight approaches market entry. Her message was that companies often start with the wrong question.
"We don't sell licenses. We solve market entry."
- Aileen Chen, Sales Consultant, Starlight

Starlight's four solutions in brief
Ms. Aileen introduced our approach as four steps: Enter, Establish, Approve, and Protect. Each one covers a different stage of setting up in the Philippines.
Step | Solution | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
Enter | Employer of Record | Starlight acts as the legal employer, hires and onboards staff, and handles monthly payroll and contributions. Clients can convert to their own entity later. |
Establish | PEZA | Market-entry strategy, zone selection, PEZA registration, workforce setup, and ongoing compliance. |
Approve | FDA | License to Operate for importers, distributors, and manufacturers, plus product registration and notifications. |
Protect | ShieldCore | An annual calendar of SEC, BIR, and LGU duties, gap checks, contract and governance review, and monitoring of regulatory changes. |
In her closing, Ms. Aileen described Starlight as "one partner for the whole journey." Not every business needs all four steps. Where you start depends on what you are doing in the Philippines.
Questions to ask before you commit to the Philippine market
If you visited the expo, or are weighing a move to the Philippines, these questions came out of our conversations and Ms. Aileen's talk:
- Do you need staff before your company is set up? An Employer of Record arrangement is one option.
- Will you manufacture, export, or run a technology operation? Zone and activity choices matter for PEZA.
- Do you sell food, cosmetics, health products, medical devices, or drugs? FDA approval decides whether you can import, sell, or distribute them.
- Who tracks your SEC, BIR, and LGU deadlines once you are operating?
